Camping Equipment Rental Agreement
These terms and conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the “Renter”) and our company (the “Owner”).
Parties Involved
- Owner: The camping equipment rental store, offering various camping equipment for rent.
- Renter: The individual or group renting the camping equipment for a specific period of time.
Rental Period
- The rental period begins, specific to the booking, on the date the camping equipment is delivered by the Owner or collected by the Renter and ends on the date the camping equipment is returned to the Owner.
- The rental period duration is specified at the time of booking and should be strictly adhered to.
- Rental period includes weekends and public holidays.
- A minimum rental of 3 days is applicable.
Rental Fees & Payment
- The rental fee, inclusive of any applicable taxes, is determined based on the type and quantity of camping equipment rented.
- Full payment will be required before delivery of the camping equipment. A 30% rental excess and damages deposit can be paid to confirm, booking the camping equipment.
- Additional charges may apply for late returns, damages, or loss of camping equipment.
- If the Renter do not return the camping equipment on the termination date, will full rental fees be applicable for the late return of the camping equipment.
- Payment methods accepted are EFT, Payment link (provided), Credit and Debit Cards.
- Payment with EFT will first be cleared before any camping equipment bookings are confirmed.
Rental Excess & Damage Deposit
- A 30% of the total rental value excess and damages deposit are required to cover repair costs in case of damage(s) to the camping equipment.
- The deposit will be paid back 7(seven) business days after the camping equipment is picked up or returned, and there are no evident damages to the camping equipment.
- Any damages or loss will be deducted from the deposit.
Liability & Damage Responsibility
- Ownership of the camping equipment always remains with EcoCamp Equipment Rentals.
- Risk of the camping equipment shall pass immediately to the Renter when the camping equipment is delivered and received by the Renter.
- The Renter is responsible for the care and proper use of the camping equipment during the rental period. Any damages or loss of camping equipment are the responsibility of the Renter.
- The Renter acknowledges that the camping equipment is in good condition at the time of rental and agrees to return it in the same condition, minus normal wear and tear.
- The Renter must notify the Owner of any defects or damages upon receipt of the camping equipment.
- In the case of the camping equipment being lost or stolen while in the possession of the Renter, the Renter shall pay EcoCamp Equipment Rentals the full replacement cost of such losses.
Proper Use of Equipment
- The Renter agrees to use the camping equipment for its intended purpose and in a safe and responsible manner.
- The camping equipment should not be modified or altered in any way without the prior consent from the Owner.
- The Renter is expected to maintain the camping equipment in good condition, with normal wear and tear expected.
Delivery & Pickup
- The Owner will arrange for the delivery and pickup of the camping equipment as per the details provided by the Renter at the time of booking.
- The Renter must be present at the agreed-upon delivery and pickup times.
Cancellation & Refunds
- The Agreement includes a clear cancellation policy, outlining any applicable fees or penalties for cancellations, modifications, or early returns. Customers are encouraged to review and understand the cancellations terms.
- Refunds will be processed according to our refund policy.
- Cancellation Policy is as follows:
- 1 – 14 days prior to delivery, 90% of the total rental fee will be charged.
- 15 – 29 days prior to delivery, 50% of the total rental fee will be charged.
- 30+ days prior to delivery, 30% of total rental fee will be charged.
Liability
- The Owner shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of the camping equipment.
- The Renter is responsible for ensuring that the camping equipment is suitable for their intended use and assumes all associated risks.
